2015: Where We Have Been, From A Desert to A Snowy Mountain

Hi everyone, Happy New Year!

I am writing this post on the second day of 2016. We just got back from our #JPFamTrip yesterday, so apology for not updating tesyasblog for some time. But I did a liveblogging from Tokyo and Kyoto on tesyaskinderen. Please take a look.

2015 has been a wonderful year for us, we visited beautiful places, published one book Family Backpacking Hong Kong, and even invited to Club Med Bali :)

Here we go, a recap of our 2015, from Sydney to Japan.

1st Quarter of 2015

New South Wales, Australia

A family trip to Sydney, Newcastle and Port Stephens started our year.

A dream came true, we succeeded taking our Kiddos to one of my fave city in the world: Sydney. Even better, we traveled to Blue Mountains, Newcastle and Port Stephens to try the sand boarding. Please refer to the posts of our #SYDFamTrip

Singapore

Weekend getaway to Singapore with my division :)

It's different sharing togetherness in the office versus when you're travelling together right? So I made a budget weekend getaway to Singapore for my friends from the office, and yeah we did it (even though we had to sleep in the cold Changi airport:D).

Bangkok

Mommies day out to Bangkok

I tried to arrange a weekend getaway to Bangkok, with lots of shopping in the itinerary. I am looking forward to arrange another moms day out trip to Bangkok. Anyone interested? Please refer to this post: 3 Hari 2 Malam di Bangkok.

Cirebon

At Nasi Jamblang, Cirebon

It was the first time that our Kiddos eat the rice on a leaf:D They love Nasi Jamblang as well as Empal Gentong. Please refer to this post: Nasi Jamblang Ibu Nur and Empal Gentong H.Apud.

2nd Quarter of 2015

Glamping at Tanakita

Our Kiddos had so much fun at Tanakita

A glamping in the nature of Tanakita Camping Ground. My fave place for a glamping with my family so far! Please refer to this post: Review of Tanakita Camping Ground.

Tanjung Puting National Park, Kalimantan

Kiddos on the Klotok

We survived trying our first LOB experience exploring Tanjung Puting National Park to see the Orang Utans:) Please refer to our posts: Orang Utan Trip With Kids.

Perth, Australia

Selfie at Kalbarri National Park

I and mr.husband promise each other to have a trip just the two of us, at least once a year:D And mr.husband took me to a beautiful place called Kalbarri National Park.
You can read our story on this link: Perth and Kalbarri

Redang Island, Malaysia

Kiddos#1 enjoying his snorkel at Redang

I've always wanted to go to Maldives, but having visited Redang Island, a 45 minutes from Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia, made me realize that Maldives was not the only one:p Read our story: 10 Reasons Why You Should Stay at Wisana Village

3rd Quarter of 2015

LOB at Komodo Island

The most beautiful place and beaches we had visited so far in Indonesia is Komodo Island. You have to visit this place, at least once in your life! See our tesyasvlog in Komodo: Family Trip to Komodo Day 1

Kawah Putih, Ciwidey Bandung

You just have to visit Kawah Putih

I was born and lived in Bandung, but it was my first time visiting the famous Kawah Putih. And I was amazed by how beautiful it is. See other pictures in this link: Kawah Putih Bandung, A Magnificent Place to Visit.

4th Quarter of 2015

Club Med, Bali

Our first time ever staying at Club Med, and now we are big fan of Club Med. Kiddos had the opportunity to mingle with his new friends from all over the world, and I had the opportunity to enjoy the adult only Zen Pool:D Read how we spent a fabulous weekend: Club Med Bali, The All Inclusive Resort.
Thank you Club Med Bali for inviting us!

Glamping at Sari Ater Camping Park, Lembang

Our tent at Sari Ater

Just 1,5 hours away from Bandung, Sari Ater offers you a family camping park which is very comfortable even for a newbie like our family. On the top of that, you can enjoy the hot spring, which is the highlight of Sari Ater. Read our review on this camping ground: Review of Sari Ater Family Camping Park

Cycling in Singapore

Cycling at Punggol Waterway

Another trip only for me and mr.husband, I wanted to try cycling in Singapore. So we went to Punggol Waterway, probably the best cycling route in Singapore. Read our story here.

Japan

To end the year, we made another travel dream came true: playing on the snow in Japan!  Read our story here.

I believe each and everyone of you had a FUNtastic year of 2015, and now I am wishing all of you to have a great year ahead! And remember, Travel Begins With A Dream.
