In a search of a hotel for our family in Sanur, we ended up choosing Mercure resort. Actually I haven't heard about this hotel before, but having read the TA review saying that the pool is great, we decided to stay at Mercure Sanur.
The check in was fast, we were given welcome drink and cold towel while waiting at their spacious loby. Arkan loves the fishpool at the lobby.
The resort looks old and tired, but I love the garden that links the loby to our room.
Many of the TA reviews say negative things about the room. For me, the room is ok, it has a balcony facing the garden. The bed is spacious enough for the four of us. Ask the room on the first floor, so you won't have to take all the stairs up to go to your room.
Yes the pool was great, we loved it.
It has a playground, too bad the sliding were broken. It has also a huge garden at the back facing the beach.
Sanur beach is not that beautiful, Bali has so many more beautiful beaches! But as the sea is very quiet at Sanur, our kiddos love the beach.
We paid IDR 675,000 via asiarooms for the room only. I think the price is well worth all the facilities we got at Mercure Sanur.
