[Hotel Review] Anoi Itam Resort - Weh Island

Where to stay in Weh Island (Pulau Weh) of Aceh? I have reviewed several places previously, and it was a surprise for me to find another great place called Anoi Itam Resort, recommended by a friend of mine, Pak Hermawan. He said that Anoi Itam is the best place for sunrise lovers in Weh Island.

I started to search on google how the resort looks like (because I took my friends to Weh and I didn't want to disappoint them), when I found out that the icon of the resort was the gazebo near the beach area. The hotel looks like really nice, and I decided to book one night at Anoi Itam Resort.

A really relaxing place at Anoi Itam

When we arrived at the resort, it was 5 pm already. We got only two days in Weh, so upon arrival we explored Weh island, and went to our hotel at the end of the day. The resort was very clean, with a big comfortable room. When I sent the picture of the room to my husband Rene, he said that this is the kind of hotel I'd choose if we take our kiddos to Weh Island someday. Hmm, he knows me so well:D

Our room is inside this house
Our room at Anoi Itam Resort: IDR 750,000 per night

Unfortunately we couldn't snorkel in the sea at the back of the resort, but there was a great swimming pool.

There was nothing much to do at Anoi Itam Resort beside enjoying the peacefulness of this place. This resort is isolated but only 10 minutes away by car to the Balohan Port Sabang. So it was handy for us because the next morning we had to catch the first ferry back to Banda Aceh.

Yes, it's very peaceful at the resort :)
Lovely setting of the resort

The highlight of my stay was the beautiful sunrise we enjoyed from Anoi Itam Resort. What a great thing to start that day.

Thank you Pak Hermawan and Pak Wandy who had brought us to this lovely place. It was a weekend to remember :)

Travel tip:
If you are planning to stay at this resort, I would recommend staying on your last night at Weh Island, as the place is really close to the port.
