It was my first experience to stay at a capsule hotel, and I was lucky that the first capsule hotel that my wife choose was a luxury one:D It was The Pod Boutique Capsule Hotel in Singapore.
Tesya came across The Pod when she was searching for a Singapore hotel in Agoda for me. Then we checked its website, and we both amazed by the pictures of the bed and also the price:p Anyway, we reserved one single pod for my night stay. We'd love to try how it's like to sleep in a luxury pod.
It was easy getting to The Pod from Changi. I took the MRT, alight at Bugis MRT Station, and walked to Kampong Glam area. It was a 10 minutes walk before I reached The Pod. After the hassle-free check-in process, I was ushered to my pod. I had to leave my shoes in a locker before entering the dorms.
As I traveled by myself, I choose a front entry single pod cost SGD 50/night in a male dorm. Expensive huh? But the price was well worth it. I slept in a very comfortable bed, had my privacy as I closed the blind. I didn't feel staying in a dorm at all.

The price I paid for my room was again reflected when I saw the bathroom. They provide modern bathroom with a luxury touch.
Breakfast was included in the price, as well as the free and fast wifi, free laundry, free local calls and free use of laptop. No wonder it is stated on their website: "Pay For The Stay, Everything Else is Free"
Yup I had enjoy my stay at The Pod, and will definitely back to stay at the queen pod when I travel with my wife to Singapore.
