Where to stay in Pratunam Bangkok? I found a 3 star hotel located at Petchaburi Soi 15, called Marwin Villa Hotel Bangkok. Never heard about this hotel before, I saw it on booking dot com as one of the hotel with high score.
I love their industrial look, from the lobby to their room. The lobby is very spacious with comfortable sofa to sit while waiting for your friends. Not to mention that they even have an in house massage parlour just next to the lobby at an affordable price.

Location
Don't get confused with its name, Marwin Villa is not a villa. It is a budget hotel, located at the back area of restaurants. The place is easy to reach though, it's just that you have to walk through an alley full of places to eat.

Then you have to take the lift to the 3rd floor to reach Marwin Villa's lobby. There's also another hotel on the 2nd floor called Siam Best Hotel. But the atmosphere is quiet different than Marwin Villa Hotel.

Beside restaurants, it was easy to find massage parlour on the Petchaburi Soi 15. There are also some other places to stay like Pakdee Bed and Breakfast, and also Good Day Hostel on the same street. The later, they have a decent coffee machine at the lobby area. Too bad, didn't have the time to try their coffee though.

The Room & Restaurants
We stayed at their twin bedded superior room for IDR 650,000 per night (room only). There's a rabbit painted on our wall. From their website, it is stated that each room comes with different rabbit painting. Wow that's interesting!
The pillows and bed were really comfortable |
There's a refrigerator, hair dryer and a kettle in our room. I didn't take the picture of our ensuite bathroom. But I must say it was spotless, with enough toiletries (except toothbrush), the room was just great.
If you are travelling with your family or in a big group, you can choose their triple or family room.
Our room located on the 4th floor, on the same floor as their restaurants. And yes their restaurant is an instagrammable spot.

Where To Go If You Only Book "Room Only" Option?
Head to Pratunam morning market for your Bangkok's food street galore. My fave place at Pratunam is the tiny coffeeshop called Porta Coffee, and this time I tried their Boba Thai Tea and also their cold brew.
Never go wrong with Boba |
Loved their Cold Brew |
And just few meters away from Porta Coffee, there's a small alley full of food street, and also a muslim food stall. I ordered fried noodle for THB60, only a small portion but it was ok to start my day.
All in all it was a great stay at Marwin Villa Hotel Bangkok, and it is confirmed that Pratunam is my fave area to stay in Bangkok :)
