It was a nice surprise when my friend told me that our year end meeting of 2013 was going to be held in Yogyakarta. And I was super excited when I knew that Hotel Tentrem was finally chosen of the venue of our meeting, meaning that we were going to stay at this brand new hotel for two nights.
When I first saw the hotel from the outside, it didn't interest me, until I arrived at the lobby. I knew this hotel would be my fave hotel in Yogyakarta.

The lobby was huge and looks very expensive with the hanging lamp, comfortable sofa and not too mention the marble floor.

When I walked further to the reception, I found a fancy reception. The check in was fast, the staffs were really friendly and helpful.

We went to our room after series of meetings that day, and the room was amazing. It was spacious, with two queen beds inside. Perfect hotel for a family getaway.

|Comfortable bed with many pillows!|
Too bad we didn't get room with bathtub, there's only shower which is separated from the toilet. But still the bathroom area was also impressive.

What about the pool? Hotel Tentrem has a great pool located few meters away from the kids playground. How I wish that someday I will be staying in this lovely hotel again and take our kiddos swim here.

There's a pool bar between the playground and the pool, just perfect!
If you book Hotel Tentrem, make sure your booking include the breakfast at Hotel Tentrem. It was fabulous and worth every rupiah you spend.

|Gudeg Yogya and Jamu is also provided|

For you who love paintings, there are many beautiful paintings inside the hotel. I took some picture of the paintings
Last but not least, a playground for the kids is provided free for the children staying at Hotel Tentrem :)

I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone going to Yogyakarta. Avoid peak period as the rooms will be sold with a surcharge. The price at low season is very reasonable considering all the facilities provided by Hotel Tentrem.
