Marrison Hotel Singapore

A brand new hotel located at the heart of Bugis, to be precised just at the back of the field which used to have the New 7th Storey Hotel, my fave budget hotel in Singapore. Too bad the New 7th storey hotel has been demolished due to the construction of new MRT line.

I have never stayed at Marrison Hotel, but I did a survey on its location for my friend Alisa Haqiqi and I thought maybe it will be useful for my blog readers as well. Marrison Hotel located on the Beach road, but if you are coming from Bugis Village (Bugis MRT Station, exit C), you will have to pass Tan Queen Lan Street, to reach the hotel. It is about 5 minutes walk from Bugis Village.

Le Marly Bandung

Another unique resto in Bandung: Le Marly Bandung. When we entered the resto, the place looks really impressive with all the lamps hanging on the ceiling.

We went to Le Marly Bandung at about 10 am, during their breakfast hour, so we choosed one of their breakfast menu set; pancake with eggs and smoked beef, comes with a cup of capuccino. It tastes ok, but too much for a breakfast meal that I had to share with rene. The breakfast set menu is around IDR 30,000.

We really enjoyed being at their pantry, which is actually the design interior of the resto:)

I think I just can sit hours in this resto. We'll be back to try their lunch or dinner menu someday. This resto is on Jalan Citarum Bandung, in a walking distance from Amaris Hotel Bandung. So if you are staying at Amaris Hotel Bandung, make sure not to miss this resto.

Nanny's Pavillion Bandung

Although Nanny's Pavillion has some branches already in Jakarta, we would like to review their original branch in Bandung. Nanny's Pavillion Bandung located on Jalan Riau, but not at the same part as the Factory Outlets. From the Factory Outlets section of Jalan Riau, head towards the direction of Bandung Supermall, than you will find Nanny's Pavillion on the right, at the intersection before Taman Pramuka Bandung.

When you enter the resto, it has two parts, we decided to go to the one which is linked directly to a clothing shop. The atmosphere is just like at home:)

It was lunch time, so we decided to have a hot dish rather than trying their famous pancakes with icecream. So I ordered their fetucini carbonara, which was delicious, for around IDR 40,000.

I also ordered my fave menu at Pancious Pancake; the baby grilled potato. I wanted to compare the taste with the same menu at the Nanny's Pavillion. However I still think that the one from Pancious Pancake is much better. It cost around IDR 30,000.

Rene tried their baked rice which was called "Aunti's Sausage Baked". It was tasty but however taste very unique:p

For me the Nanny's is categorized as "one time experience is enough" kind of resto. It has a good ambience, good food, but other resto especially in Bandung are much better.
