Aloft Hotel Kuala Lumpur: A Perfect Family Hotel in KL

On our journey from Sydney to Jakarta, we choose to transit one night in Kuala Lumpur, as our Air Asia flight was bound for Sydney-Kuala Lumpur route. We choose to fly with Lufthansa from Kuala Lumpur to Jakarta, giving us a chance to stay overnight at Kuala Lumpur.
We needed a hotel which is centrally located in KL Sentral (train station), and thanks God Google had lead us to Aloft Hotel KL Sentral

Before doing the research on where to stay near KL Sentral, I thought there's only Hilton Hotel which is directly linked to KL Sentral. I saw the sign to Hilton Hotel on my previous visit to Kuala Lumpur. But when I checked on Google Maps, Aloft Hotel is now the newest hotel which is directly linked to KL Sentral and to Nu Sentral Mall.

We arrived around 8 pm at the hotel, we took KLIA Express from KLIA2 airport to KL Sentral, and walked conveniently from the train to the hotel, even with our two Kiddos and one huge luggage.

The check-in was fast, and we asked regarding late check-out to the friendly staff. He let us checking out at 4 pm on the following day. Yeay! The design of the lobby was really modern, and yes it was spacious.

The Room

When we entered the room, we were amazed by two twin beds inside our room. I saw it on their web as well, but did not expect to get two queen beds:) It was perfect for the four of us!

The room comes with a modern bathroom as well. And it was very spacious.

What a lovely room for a family traveler:)
Modern and spacious bathroom. Love it!

The Infinity Rooftop Pool

Of course I checked on their website how cool Aloft's rooftop pool was. And when I saw the pool on the website, few minutes later my reservation was done:D We only planned to take picture in front of Petronas tower, so having a hotel with great pool was a good idea, as we could spend our family time at the pool.

The view from the pool was awesome!

The pool is opened until 11 pm

The Breakfast

We booked the cheapest room, which did not include breakfast. But Aloft provide us with a complimentary breakfast ((Thank you!)).

Again, we were amazed by the futuristic design of the restaurant.

The seat was "taken" by us:D

Food were beautifully presented, and the variety of the food was awesome! Having my big breakfast at Aloft, I should advise you not to miss the chance of having breakfast at Aloft KL.

Let's eat!

Nu Sentral Mall

The closest shopping center from Aloft Hotel Kuala Lumpur is the Nu Sentral Mall. It's an upscale mall with many expensive brands inside. It is located only few steps away from Aloft Hotel KL Sentral.

Do you spot Godiva?:D

It was for sure an enjoyable stay for our family at Aloft Hotel Kuala Lumpur. And I really hope that Aloft Jakarta will be opening soon, adding another branch of the existing Aloft Hotel in Asia: Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.
