On our second night in Belitung, we preferred to stay at Tanjung Pandan city to be close with the airport due to our early flight the next morning by Citilink. We finally choose Bahamas, as it was the cheapest we could get compared to Billiton and Grand Hatika. We were also recommended by our friend Rico who had stayed there before.
We made our booking by phone and got a discounted rate at IDR 520,000 per night, of course for the cheapest room. When we got there, we were glad that the room condition is much better compared to Lor In.

The Bahamas hotel has a tiny pool, but we came at sunset time after a whole day island hopping in Belitung. So we ignored our kiddos request to have another swim session. At the pool area we could enjoy a direct view to the beach, but I am not sure whether we could swim on the beach.

Our room was on the 1st floor facing a garden in the middle of the hotel. There's also a restaurant at the hotel, too bad we forgot to request our breakfast to be taken away.

As there's still no easy public transportation in Belitung, it is recommended to use the hotel's airport transfer from and to the airport. Bahamas provide a van cost IDR 100,000 per room one way.
Location wise, it's not that centrally located in the heart of the town. We used our rented car to get our dinner at the town (5-10 minutes by car). The hotel provides plenty parking place for the guests. Moreover, it's the closest hotel from Kelayang Beach (where we took the boat for Belitung's island hopping activities) compared to Grand Hatika and Billiton.
If you are looking for a hotel in Tanjung Pandan, The Bahamas Hotel is recommended.
