Dimana menginap di Ubud bersama keluarga? Liburan akhir tahun 2022, kami menginap di Tegal Sari Accommodation Ubud. Pemilihan tempatnya berdasarkan lokasi yang dekat kemana-mana.

Kamar yang kami pilih bernama Nyalian Suite, terdiri dari 1 bed besar, 1 bed tambahan dan sebuah sofa yang nyaman untuk tidur. Karena kami membayar untuk tiga orang saat booking via Agoda, satu orang tambahan harus membayar saat check in Rp 150 rb per malam.

Review Hotel Hilton Nusa Dua Bali

Desember 2021 adalah kali pertama kami naik pesawat untuk melakukan perjalanan bersama keluarga, setelah dua tahun tidak kemana-mana (karena pandemi). Saat itu hotel di Bali masih murah, kami bisa menginap di Hilton Nusa Dua Bali dengan Rp 2 juta per malam sudah mendapatkan dua kamar.

Menginap di Hilton Nusa Dua Bali sangat menyenangkan, selain karena kamarnya yang nyaman, kolam renang yang fun, juga karena pantai dengan ombak yang menantang.

Review Hotel Sofitel Nusa Dua Bali: Menikmati Kolam Renang di Sofitel

Libur lebaran 2022, kami sekeluarga berangkat ke Bali. Karena harga hotel masih cukup bersahabat saat itu (efek pandemi), kami menginap di Sofitel Nusa Dua. Liburan ke Bali kali ini tidak ada agenda khusus, jadi kami leyeh-leyeh di hotel saja.

Menginap di Sofitel memang cocok untuk tidur-berenang-makan- repeat! Karena kolam renang mereka yang keren. Setiap pagi setelah sarapan pasti kami langsung ke kolam renang.

Bubble Hotel Bali: Unforgettable Birthday Trip To Sleep Inside A Bubble Tent

I wanted to have something different for my birthday this year, and sleeping inside a bubble tent would make my wish come true. I loved balloons since I was born, when I saw there's a bubble tent in Uluwatu Bali which was available on my birthday, the reservation via airbnb was made.

We arrived in the late afternoon because of traffic jam in Uluwatu area. The host advised us to come before sunset, because to reach the bubble tent we had to walk down the hill for about 20 minutes.

Half the way down, we saw our bubble. Yeay!

Bamboo Eco Cottage: Our Glamping Experience in The Middle Of a Rice Field in Ubud

I came across Bamboo Eco Cottage when I was searching a room in Ubud for one night. We didn't intend to do glamping in Ubud, but when I see the picture, and also the affordable price, I couldn't resist.

I ask my husband whether it will be ok to stay at this kind of place, in the middle of a rice field with our Kiddos. And he answered that the place as seen from the pictures was fabulous, so I booked through airbnb. And when we got there, the place is just too awesome! It sets in a beautiful rice field, I love the surroundings, the fresh air, aaah every single thing.

Ibis Bali Kuta: Budget Hotel Near Bali's Airport

We had a one night stop over at Bali, before our Air Asia flight to Perth. I asked mr.husband whether we were going to stay at Bali's airport or at a hotel near Bali's Airport, to wait for our flight. He said as long as we could eat our favorite Bubur Laota, it doesn't matter for him:D

Then I remember Ibis Bali Kuta which is located just across Bubur Laota. I checked Ibis Bali Kuta's website, and the price on weekday was IDR 300,000 per night. Very cheap, for a budget hotel like Ibis :)

We took taxi from airport, and just few minutes later we arrived at Ibis Bali Kuta. The hotel looks beautiful at night with all the lights.

Club Med Bali Review: Sport and Activities

It was my first Club Med experience. Before coming to Club Med Bali, I read its website to plan what will we do at Club Med Bali for 3 days. The Children Club, snorkeling, kayaking, archery, flying trapeze, swimming, tennis and yoga were on our list. 

When we arrived at Club Med Bali, the first thing that our Kiddos request was swimming, because the pool was seen from the lobby. We sat at one of the cabana provided in Club Med Bali, ordering cold drinks from the bar for free, chilling out at the pool, and started our 3 days enjoying sport and activities at Club Med Bali.

Club Med Bali Review - The All Inclusive Resort

This was our first Club Med experience. Club Med has more than 80 resorts in the world, and 2 of them are located in Indonesia: Club Med Bali and Club Med Bintan. 

If you are not familiar with Club Med, it is an all inclusive resort. The price you pay include all the activities, food, drinks, and of course the kids club for the children. I always thought that staying at Club Med is only for the members. But I was wrong, you don't have to be a member to stay at Club Med in Indonesia. 

We stayed for 3D2N, it was an amazing experience for our family. Read our Club Med Bali Review, we would like to share how this resort had given our family a memorable experience.

[Hotel Review] Sheraton Kuta Bali

When I was looking for a hotel in Kuta area, I didn't know that Sheraton has opened their hotel in Kuta, located just next to a shopping mall called Bali Beach Walk. What a perfect match: Sheraton, shopping malls, and the beach.

We decided to stay there for two nights, after checking its website and fell in love with the room and the pool area. Lucky we were upgraded to a sea view room. However the view is more "a garden" than "a sea", because the sea was far from our room. But it was a lovely garden to enjoy when we opened the door from our room to the balcony.

Villa Sandy at North Kuta, For A Big Family Holiday in Bali

Are you looking for a place to stay with your family in Bali? Why not book a villa which consist of 3 bedrooms and a swimming pool via airbnb?

When I saw the villa for the first time, I fell in love with it. It's just perfect to stay there if we go to Bali with our parents. All the rooms are special with a view to the rice field, and one being only few steps away from the swimming pool. I guess, the room which connected to the pool will be suitable for our kiddos.

Budget Hotel in Seminyak: Review of Fave Hotel Seminyak

When I am looking for a budget hotel in any big cities in Indonesia, I always check whether there's a Fave Hotel in that city. What I like about Fave Hotel (other than its cheap price) are: premium location, comfortable bed and clean room. And of course swimming pool availability in some locations.

I choose Fave Seminyak when I extended my business trip in Bali with 11 friends of mine. I have stayed at Fave Bypass Kuta on my previous visit, but I wanted to stay around Seminyak. My alternatives were Fave Seminyak or Fave Umalas. As always, money talks:p I got a promo rate at Fave Seminyak for IDR 350,000 per room including breakfast. The reservation was made via booking.com.

Harris Hotel at Bukit Jimbaran

Deciding which hotel to choose for our annual gathering was not that easy, even in Bali! There were too many great hotels to choose, while we had to stick on our budget:p We were also confuse on deciding which area to choose, will it be the hectic Kuta, Denpasar (with the privilege of getting closer to our office in Denpasar), or Nusa Dua.

After all the discussion, our friends in Denpasar office recommend Harris Hotel at Bukit Jimbaran. When I saw its website and found out that it has a rooftop dining area, I agree to choose Harris Hotel Bukit Jimbaran.

Fave Hotel By Pass (Kuta) Bali

If you need a transit hotel in Bali which is located close to the airport, this Fave Hotel By Pass could be one of the option. We stayed there on my extended business trip, whereas Rene came to accompany me on Friday night. So I had to wait for Rene's flight that came at midnight. 

We came across Fave Hotel By Pass because of its promo at Agoda. By utilizing our Agoda point and the promo rate, we paid only IDR 250,000 nett for the room without breakfast.

Hard Rock Hotel Bali: The Greatest Family Hotel

We ended our school holiday in Bali, by staying a night in Hard Rock after staying at Kuta Central Park for the previous three nights. This was our third time staying at Hard Rock Hotel Bali, this hotel has stolen our heart so we keep on coming back. Glad that we could take our parents and our kiddos staying at Hard Rock this time, even though only one night, we had such a great time.

A Purple Hotel Called Kuta Central Park

In conjunction with our promo fare from Tiger Mandala (IDR 400,000 Jakarta-Denpasar return fare), we'd like to stay at a budget hotel with a swimming pool for our kiddos in the area of Kuta, Legian or Seminyak. 

Fave hotels was one of the alternatives, until we saw a disdus promo at Kuta Central Park for IDR 320.000 per night including breakfast. Beside the price, the color of the hotel has made me click the submit payment button on disdus website.

I was in a doubt with its location, as it is inside a shopping area, far from the beach. But as we rented a car, it was not a problem for us. The location somehow benefit us, it was easy to find food within the area.

Harris Sunset Road Bali

There are many Harris hotels in Bali, this time (on our business trip) we tried their hotel on Sunset Road, not far from Carrefour. We just wanted to be central, that's why we choose this hotel. The hotel is not actually located on sunset road, we have to turn left to a residential area, where the Harris is located next to it. One thing for sure, it's surrounding is very quiet. 

Harris Sunset Road has a very welcoming lobby. Guest will feel relaxed entering this hotel.

Grand Whiz Kuta Bali

Actually we don't really like staying at Kuta, but as we only had two days in Bali, we needed to stay as close as possible with the airport. We found this hotel, Grand Whiz Kuta Bali, a new hotel with a great swimming pool.

Cattleya Marbella Seminyak

We stayed at Cattleya Marbella Seminyak with a special price from Disdus, wow a villa with a private pool for IDR 2,685,000 (4D3N)! It was a great bargain. Prior to our stay, the hotel staffs were really helpful, they replied our email promptly. We were picked up at Bali's airport, it was about 30 minutes drive to the Cattleya Marbella Seminyak. 

The check-in process was fast, we were given orange juice as the welcome drink. From the outside, the villa looks small, and the lobby area looks unfinished:p However the friendliness of the hotel staffs gave us a warm feeling at the lobby.

Mercure Sanur

In a search of a hotel for our family in Sanur, we ended up choosing Mercure resort. Actually I haven't heard about this hotel before, but having read the TA review saying that the pool is great, we decided to stay at Mercure Sanur.

The check in was fast, we were given welcome drink and cold towel while waiting at their spacious loby. Arkan loves the fishpool at the lobby.

Bayu Cottages Amed

Finally we got a chance to stay at Amed Beach Bali with our kiddos. We stayed at Bayu Cottages, a very nice cottage with an affordable price. Four of us stayed at their triple room, and cost IDR 450,000 incl breakfast. 

Bayu Cottages located at Lipah beach, an area full of hotels in Amed. The cottages located on a hill and each of the 6 rooms has a stunning view to the ocean.
