Review of Sari Ater Family Camping Park

Yes, our family is a big fan of "glamping" (glamorous camping), and we would love to try any places which provide glamping in Indonesia. This time, we visited Sari Ater Family Camping Park, located in Lembang, about 2 hours from Bandung.

As usual, I was asked by my friends to organize a weekend getaway. I decided to try camping at Sari Ater after reading some review of it. I had to find a comfortable place for our group which consist of many kids, toddlers, even one baby. 6 families confirmed to join glamping this time, the biggest group of any family trips I had arranged so far.

I will write a detail review of Sari Ater Camping Park, to give you an idea why I think choosing this place was the right decision.

Review of Tanakita Camping Ground, Sukabumi

I always answer "Tanakita" whenever someone ask me what is my favourite camping ground that we have visited so far. Tanakita located in Sukabumi, a 3 to 4 hours car ride from Jakarta (depending on traffic). 

It is located inside the Pangrango National Park, so you will enjoy lush garden, the greenery from the forest, fresh air and a comfortable camping ground for your family.

Review of Dusun Bambu Camping Ground

Have you ever imagined taking your family on a luxurious camping which has a bathroom in each tent with a hot shower? Indonesia has it! It is called Eagle Camp, a luxurious camping ground in Dusun Bambu, located in Lembang-Bandung.  

Having stayed in an executive camping ground near a beach in Tanjung Lesung, I'd like to take our kiddos to experience how it's like to camp in a cold area like Lembang. I brought jackets and long sleeve shirt for our kiddos, as I had no idea how cold Lembang would be these days.

I booked 5 tents directly to the phone number provided in Dusun Bambu's website, yup I succeeded make other 4 families to join our glamping (glamour camping) this time. But too bad my friend @diniros cancelled so we ended up booking two single tents (IDR 1,700,000 for 2 person) and one double tents (IDR 2,750,000 for 4 person).

Green Coral Camping Ground at Tanjung Lesung

There will always be the first time for everything, including a camping experience for our family. Taking our kiddos: 6 and 4,5 years old to stay on a camping ground was a challenge. Will they enjoy the place? Will they be able to sleep? Is the toilet and bathroom in a good condition?

I was in doubt in deciding where to stay in Tanjung Lesung, should we choose a hotel, a villa or try to sleep in the camping ground? Based on the information from @munindohoy who had visited Tanjung Lesung, the camping is located just meters away from the beach. Because our kiddos love beach so much and for the sake of the experience, we choose the what so called "exclusive camping ground" at Tanjung Lesung.
