Looking for a place to stay in Lembang - a little town located 1 hour away from Bandung? Lembang is famous for its fresh air, fresh milk named "Susu Lembang", and nowadays it's famous for its Lembang Floating Market.
People come to Lembang to avoid the hustle and bustle of Bandung especially during weekend. And that's why we could find so many villas and hotels in Bandung offering tranquility. One of the villa is Green Forest Lembang.
I fell in love with this place when I saw their website. I reserved directly from the website by phone, and they didn't ask for any down payment. I requested for a forest view room with a bathtub for our kiddos. And we loved our room from the first time we entered our wooden room.
|Welcome to our room :)|
The room has a balcony facing the forest, giving it a romantic feel. We opened the door to the balcony during the day. But when the night came, I close it tight because it was just too spooky. And I mean it seriously:p

And yes we got the room with a bathtub. Yeay! So although Green Forest didn't have swimming pool, kiddos could still enjoy the swimming session in the bathtub. Please be advised that not all the deluxe room has a bathtub. So don't forget to request it upon reservation.
What to do in Green Forest when you go there with family? There's a huge field where kiddos can play soccer. There's also a playground near the restaurant.

The room comes with a free breakfast providing bread and jam, nasi kuning and juices. Nothing special, but still we enjoyed it.

For our family, it was a perfect place to escape from Bandung's crowd. And we loved the place because it was as green as its name: Green Forest.
